Dewatering Bags DB

Dewatering Bags

FabriFlex DB dewatering bags, also known as dewatering sediment bags or sediment filter bags, are engineered for small-scale industrial dewatering of municipal wastewater, industrial pond dredging, and agricultural waste dredging. These smaller dewatering bags are ideal for projects where space is constrained or volumes are relatively small. They are customizable with different materials and sizes depending on application requirements.

The filter textile used for dewatering allows dissipation of water through its opening while retaining sediment and sludge within the tube. Upon completion of dewatering process, the filter cake inside the bag can be easily removed from site, providing an environmentally friendly solution for the project.

Factory Controlled Quality

Our dewatering bags undergone extensive quality control. Ensuring the quality of each component.

High filling capacity

FabriFlex dewatering bags are manufactured with engineered design material and fabricated with high seam strength hence can provide a higher sludge fill volume compared to others.

High Flexibility

Our sediment dewatering bags dewatering tubes are highly flexible, able to conform to deformation without jeopardizing the system.

Fast Installation

Only needs minimal machineries and manpower. Filling and seaming the bags is easy and can be done on-site.

Highly Versatile

FabriFlex dewatering silt bags is highly customisable to suit the site condition. It’s versatile arrangement ensures different configuration possibilities.

Cost Effectiveness

Our dewatering bags are used to improve the effectiveness of sludge management. Dewatered waste can significantly reduce the total volume sent to landfill for disposal.

What is a Dewatering Bag?

Dewatering bags are engineered for small-scale industrial dewatering, including municipal wastewater, industrial pond dredging, and agricultural waste dredging. Made from high-strength geotextile materials, these bags are designed to withstand heavy loads while efficiently filtering and retaining sediment. Their durable, permeable fabric allows water to pass through while trapping solid particles inside.

Common sizes for industrial dewatering bags typically range from 3 feet by 4 feet to 15 feet by 15 feet, with variations to suit specific project needs. These bags are customizable in both size and material, allowing for adjustments based on sediment volume and available space. Ideal for projects with space constraints or smaller volumes, dewatering bags offer a flexible and environmentally friendly solution. Once dewatering is complete, the remaining sediment (filter cake) can be easily removed for disposal or reuse.

What is the difference between a dewatering bag and a dewatering filter bag?

A dewatering bag and a dewatering filter bag both serve to filter and contain sediment during dewatering processes, but they differ in design and application. Dewatering bags are general-purpose, made from geotextile fabric, and suitable for small-scale projects with space constraints. They allow water to pass while retaining sediment, and the sediment can be easily removed afterward.
In contrast, dewatering filter bags are specialized, with finer mesh or additional filtration layers for enhanced efficiency in capturing smaller particles, making them ideal for specific types of wastewater and achieving higher filtration standards.

What’s the difference between a dewatering bag and a dewatering tube?

Dewatering bags are smaller, flexible, and typically used for small-scale projects like wastewater or pond dredging. They are easy to handle and ideal for confined spaces. Dewatering tubes, on the other hand, are much larger and designed for large-scale operations like industrial or marine dredging. Tubes can hold significantly more sediment and are used for projects requiring greater volume capacity.
